University of Peshawar (UoP) moved into the final of Inter-University Volleyball after registering victory against University of Sargodha in the semi-finals being played here PSB Coaching Center on Thursday. Former international athlete and Director General Sports Bahre Karam was the chief guest on this occasion. Former Director Youth Arshad Hussain, Organizing Secretary Yahya Jan, Assistant Director Sports University of Peshawar Saleem Khan, officials, players were also present.

Having services of former national team skipper Abdur Rahim as coach, University of Peshawar faced tough resistance at the hands University of Sargodha in the marathon five sets battle. University of Peshawar won the first two sets by 25-23 and 25-21 but lost the third and fourth sets at 22-25 and 23-25.

Earlier, University of Peshawar defeated University of Haripur by 3-1, the score was 23-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-22. Speaking on this occasion, Director General Sports University of Peshawar Bahre Karam lauded Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Professor Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan for taking keen interest in support various sports activities.
